Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit Plans for Vermont

Beginning January 1, 2006, thousands of Vermonters will begin receiving prescription drug
coverage through the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit. With 44 different plans
available in Vermont using approximately 25 different formularies, helping patients find
clinically appropriate alternatives from their new formulary is certain to be a difficult and
time consuming task. The Vermont Medical Society (VMS) has put together an index
of all formularies that will be in use in Vermont
